Black Stone Blackstone is made from one of a variety of stones that take a nice polish and can be dyed permanently black.
Bloodstone
Bloodstone Bloodstone is a variety of opaque chalcedony, the quartz family, also known as Heliotrope. It is dark green with red spots. In the Middle Ages, the red spots which are made by iron oxide being present, were thought to be the spots of Christ's blood, and special magical powers were attributed to the stones. For this reason, bloodstone commonly was used in sculptures representing martyrdom.
Bloodstone is an excellent blood cleanser and a powerful healer. It is grounding and protecting stone. It revitalizes and reengergizes the body and mind, purifies blood, detoxifies the liver, intestines, kidneys spleen and bladder. Carnelian Carnelian is the translucent red-orange variety of chalcedony a mineral in the quartz family. The name Carnelian is derived from its resemblance in color to the Kornel type of cherry. Carnelian's color can vary from pale orange to deep red-orange and the density of color depends on the amount of iron oxides in the mineral. Carnelian was once considered strictly the property of the noble class. Those of high social status were often buried with the gem as they believed it would protect them on their journey to the afterlife. Carnelian is a powerful aid to those who wish to build confidence courage, passion and power within themselves. It also is an excellent support for detoxifying from alcohol or other drugs, breaking negative or hurtful physical habits and generally improving overall health. Carnelian is a stabilizing stone with high energy. It is excellent for restoring vitality and motivation, it combats sluggishness, invigorates the mind and body, and it stimulatng creativity. Carnelian heals lower back problems, rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgia and depression. It regulates the kidneys, accelerates healing in the bones and ligaments and ensures a good supply of blood to organs and tissues. Chrysocolla
Chrysocolla provides unique color, blue-green, in the mineral world.When “agatized” in chalcedony quartz, the quartz provides the stone durability to be used in jewelry.Chrysocolla cansometimes also have a turquoise color which makes it a substitute for many precious stones.
Chrysocolla encourages self-awareness and inner balance, andimparts confidence and sensitivity.It enhances personal power and inspires creativity.Chrysocolla is believe to treat arthritis, bone disease, muscle spasms, ulcers, blood disorders and lung problems.It detoxifies the liver, kidneys and intestines.It is an excellent stone for women as it treats PMS and menstrual cramps.It is found in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Pennsylvania, USA; Britain, Zaire and England.
Citrine
A glassy, wine-yellow variety of quartz, often mistakenly called “topaz”, which is a completely different and far more valuable gemstone. Much of the citrine on the market today is actually heat treated amethyst.When heated to a specific temperature and held for a long enough time, a purpleamethyst will turn to citrine.Heat treated forms often can be distinguished from natural citrine by the red tine (a quality of all heat treated gemstones)
Citrine is valued for the treatment of depression and is said to eliminateself destructive tendencies.It is also thought to stimulate memory, aid digestion, remove toxins from the body and fight diabetes.Citrine symbolizes

Coral
Red Coral
Coral is a calcium carbonate, built up by the skeletal material of small animals that live in colonies in the sea.It comes in a wide range of colors, with black, red and pink considered the most valuable.It appears dull and matte when unfinished, but gains a beautiful gloss after polishing.Coral is believed to calm and improve life, is considered the best accessory for modern people living in the fast lane.Coral is said to protect children and it is given as a gift to children in manycountries.It also is used in difficulties of the lungs and digestion and many relate it to blood circulation.Corals have a special effect on our emotional lives. Itis said to help restore harmony in the event of emotional conflict and work against depression and lethargy, it also collects energy, happiness and vitality in our body.
Sponge Coral It is naturally a dark brick red, but red dye is sometimes added to the stabilizing resin.This coral might lighten with exposure to heat or extended direct sunlight.
